British born, in the county of Suffolk in the beautiful region of East Anglia, moved to Tokyo in 1986 and now lives here in Japan as a permanent resident, speaking and working in Japanese and English. Has over 20 years of experience providing mental health counseling in Japan and as a clinical psychologist (JSCCP) and psychotherapist (JFP) provides individual counseling, couples counseling and family counseling as well as group therapy services. Uses a client centered approach combined with solution focused therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy, adapting the approach in counseling to suit and assist each person find effective solutions, from within themselves and in their own terms, to the specific problems they are facing.
